I will be the president of the 35th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association for Chest Surgery (JACS) which will be held in Chiba on May 17 and 18, 2018.  ( http://www.jacs35.umin.jp/en/index.html)

Can you or your colleagues present a study at the meeting? We will provide  50,000 JPY as a travel fee.

There are number of English sessions during the meeting. May is a great season for sightseeing in Chiba-Tokyo area, especially in Tokyo Disney Resort.

We encourages young surgeons from overseas to submit original abstracts for oral or poster presentations. Those who submit an abstract can apply for a travel grant.

1. Application deadline: December 5, 2017

2. Applicants should be at the age of 45 or younger.

3. Foreign nationalities residing in Japan are not eligible for this grant.

4. A maximum of 10 recipients will be awarded 50,000JPY in appreciation of the presentation by the 35rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association for Chest Surgery.

5. The organizing committee is unable to cover the cost of registration/accommodation expenses.

6. It is the applicants' responsibility to obtain the necessary visa for entering Japan prior to the congress.

7. Grant recipient will receive notification at the end of January, 2018.

Please submit your abstract on general thoracic surgery such as lung cancer, mediastinal tumor, lung transplantation, inflammatory chest disease etc.
