I will be the president of the 72nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association for Thoracic
and Cardiovascular Surgery (JATS) which will be held in Kyoto between Oct 30 to Nov 2, 2019.

We encourages surgeons from Asian countries to submit original abstracts for oral or poster presentations.
Abstract submission deadline is April 17, 2019.
Those who submit an abstract can apply for a travel fellowship.
Travel fellowship application deadline is April 30, 2019. 20 recipients will be awarded 50,000JPY.
For those 20 recipients, we cover the cost of registration but do not cover accommodation expenses.
